International football camps: what they give a child
Regular training builds technique, but a young footballer’s real leap forward happens at away camps: 10 days of full immersion in football give more than months of twice-a-week sessions.
Why camps work
- Focus. 30 hours of practice and 20 hours of theory over 10 days — no school, gadgets, or distractions.
- Consistency. Each day builds on the last: from basic ball-control technique to team tactics.
- International experience. Friendly matches against teams from other countries — something you can’t get at home.
- Independence. The child learns to live in a group and take responsibility — under coach supervision 24/7.
How the BAF programme works
The Brazilian Football Academy’s camps take place in Antalya, Turkey: professional pitches, a 4–5★ hotel by the sea, three sports meals a day, and transfers. The programme is built on the GINGA method:
- Day 1 — ball mastery / GINGA
- Day 2 — passing and receiving
- Days 3–4 — 1-on-1 play: dribbling and defending
- Days 5–6 — attacking play in small groups
- Days 7–8 — tactics and defending: formations, traps, counterattacks
- Days 9–10 — player assessment and friendly matches
Each participant gets an individual plan: personal analysis and growth areas. The coaches are certified specialists trained in first aid.
Safety and rest
Coaches monitor each athlete’s nutrition, routine, and condition around the clock. Beyond football — the sea, a pool, a sauna, excursions, and a programme for families: the camp can be combined with a holiday.
Who can go
The camps are open to all — not only BAF players. Programme languages: Russian, Portuguese, English, Spanish.
